The hotel was located close to restaurants etc-of which there is a many very good ones in Rye, and the Windmill for 2 nights. The double room was large, included central heating, a work desk, and a TV set. The breakfast was good hot and delicious and offered a lot of options. The location was magnificent very near the local tourist attractions and the staff here was amazing friendly. It was as expected, had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in September.

    Charming Escape in Rye

The unique octagonal room offered fine views and perfect amenities. The honesty bar and music collection were lovely touches. Dining at 'Simply Italian' and 'Hoofs' provided mouthwatering local flavors. Don't miss Rye's cobbled streets and the nearby harbour for walks.

The trains passing by might be a nuisance for some. They're close, though you get used to it quickly. A few rooms could use extra amenities like more toiletries or a second key for two guests. The breakfast, while good, isn't always at the level it could be for the price range.

We had a fantastic one-night stay while exploring the beautiful town of Rye. The attention to detail in our room was impressive, making it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, and the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the town center, where we enjoyed some lovely dining options.

Consider asking for an extra key for access if you're staying with others. it made coordination easier during our visit.
